Role
Reporting to the General Manager or their designate, the Inventory Associate plays a key role in the retail store operation. The position of Inventory Associate is responsible for the customer order fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the receiving and stocking of all products
- Ensures product is replenished on shelves in a timely manner
- Cycle count – advise Supervisor of any stock outs/shortages
- Complete all planogram adjustments and changes within provided timelines for stock replenishment
- Ensure signage and information sheets are displayed accordingly in inventory room
- Follows security protocols in the receiving and inventory area in accordance with Canvas loss prevention policies and procedures
- Foster a sense of teamwork with all team members
- Support all sales activities
- Support the execution of company product standards
- Understand and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards
- Maintains inventory set up and organizational systems
- Manage the proper use and care of all tools and equipment provided by Canvas
- Utilize store communication systems to ensure optimal retail operations
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store by completing opening/closing duties
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Background
- Experience in customer care and fulfillment
- Interest in the Cannabis industry
- 19 years of age or older
- Successful police background check
- Completed CannSell Certificate
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Team oriented
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lb.
